Melinda Richardson, DC, CMT

While studying muscular therapy at Just For Your Health Massage College in San Jose, Melinda experienced the effects of natural healing. She was inspired to continue her pursuit while taking an Exercise and Nutritional Science course. After much research in physical therapy, rehabilitation and nutritional studies, Melinda decided to invest her time in learning more about the nervous system and the source of healing in the body. She pursued the practice as a primary care provider in Chiropractic and Nutrition and today is the founder of wellness practice, Chirotrition.

Melinda graduated from San Diego State University in 2002, and received her B.A. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. Melinda Richardson earned her doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2006 from the prestigious Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. During Chiropractic College Melinda volunteered on mission trips to El Salvador and Indonesia where she was able to experience working with hundreds of patients such as expecting mothers, new born babies, young children, adults and seniors. Dr. Melinda is a member of the Foundation for Wellness professionals where she voluntarily holds lectures and screenings in order to educate the community on prevention and well-being. She is also a member of the Milpitas Lion’s club and is active in volunteering in the community. Melinda serves as a Northern California board member to an International Wellness company now for over 4 years.

Dr. Richardson was born and raised in San Jose, California.  She is happily married to Rob Richardson and enjoys spending time with her daughter Sirena. Their family has two dogs Makana Aloha and Jauaua. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, friends, exercising and being outdoors. She is passionate about natural healing and believes the body has the ability to heal itself if you remove any interferences and give it the nutrition and appropriate life style changes
